Wildcard is a 54-card deck of playing cards themed after the Sierra National forest. In the past decade, the Sierra National Forest, located in Central and Eastern California, has faced a number of threats related to wildfires and forest mismanagement. My capstone aims to raise awareness to the issues facing the region. Playing cards are a huge part of camping and hiking culture, and this custom deck reflects the goals of surrounding communities as well as engages an audience of all ages and demographics.
