An unidentified ‘creature’ has been spotted in the network of tunnels that run under campus. These unsettling occurrences have the potential to significantly hinder students from studying this coming Finals Week, placing the college in a difficult position.
It all started a week ago when multiple individuals complained about hearing eerie noises in the underpasses. Soon after these clatters first emerged, the first sighting occurred.
“I saw it in front of me, just staring. It was dark, and all I could see were these big, evil eyes looking down at me in the darkness,” a student recalled.
The student reported this incident taking place around 3 a.m., after a late-night study session. Due to the late hour, skeptics shrugged the complaint off as a symptom of sleep deprivation.
After this claim became public knowledge, several more students also reported seeing the creature in the underground passage.
“I was going to the Science Building to study, but the creature was at the bottom of the stairs blocking my path. I took it as a sign from God that I was not to study that night,” said a student.
All of the descriptions the witnesses gave were hazy and vague, causing more people to be skeptical of the existence of this entity. For the most part, students described it as a tall, shadow-like figure with big eyes.
As it turns out, students were right on with their description of this creature. Two nights ago, a group of students wandered the tunnels in search of this supposed creature. During this excursion, they were able to spot this creature and capture a short video of it before it fled.
While a majority of people on campus believe this recording to be evidence of this creature’s existence, others remain skeptical.
“The video is insanely grainy, making it hard to make out anything. I mean, it’s 2025. Why does this video look like a VHS tape?” said a skeptic.
Students are now requesting the cancellation of Finals due to the unnerving presence of this creature. At the moment, the College has declared Finals to still be on.
"It is more scared of us than we are of it. Students should not let this minor matter interfere with their studies," assured a faculty member.
