Aries ♈️: (March 2–April 19)
Nobody is watching your every move. You know who is pondering your every word and action? Just you, my dear. Dissecting the conversation from 10 minutes ago, pinpointing your awkward moments and attempting to rewrite the past will accomplish nothing. If you must think about it, learn from it. There is no need to dissect your past self, it is not worth your time. Your focus should be ahead.
Movie Recommendation: Back to the Future
Taurus ♉️: (April 20–May 20)
There is something that you are missing. It might take some soul searching but that lost element will make itself known. Spend some time with your hopes, dreams, anxieties, dying aspirations, forgotten goals, and whatever else has been lost to the abyss. Put on your scuba suit, strap on your oxygen tank, and do a deep dive into you. It might be scary, there might be some sea monsters you have to slay (or tame); there may be something to fear, but not for long.
Movie Recommendation: 47 Meters Down
Gemini ♊️: (May 21–June 20)
Since when were you afraid of being called a ‘nerd’? It really is a compliment and not an insult. You shouldn’t have to hide your unique interests and talents from your friends. And if you do, they're not really friends anyway. Don’t get stuck up in the status quo and social expectations. All of these social groups are made up after all. You don’t have to be a cool kid, you only have to be yourself. Don’t stray away from that weird hobby or that unusual fascination.
Movie Recommendation: High School Musical
Cancer ♋️: (June 2–July 22)
Sometimes, cracking a fake smile can lead to a real one. It’s okay to be down, depressed, and over it, but sometimes your goals and responsibilities will require more energy than you think you have. You underestimate the power of a good cup of coffee, an upbeat song, and the idea of faking it till you make it. You won’t always have it, but you sure as heck can act like you do. So put on a confidence-boosting outfit and tap into those improvising skills. You’ve got this…even if you don’t.
Movie Recommendation: Thirteen Going on Thirty
Leo ♌️: (July 23–Aug. 22)
You’ve got big dreams, and you’re willing to do a lot to attain them. Push and shove, but don’t cut people down. You may have to set boundaries for yourself. How far are you willing to go to get what you want? You may have to put yourself in check to avoid hurting people. This doesn’t make you a bad person, it just makes you an incredibly ambitious one. Do not let your aspirations overshadow your humanness.
Movie Recommendation: Whiplash
Virgo ♍️: (Aug. 23–Sept. 22)
What’s with you? You’re in a funk—and not the groovy kind. You may have to make some changes, both drastic and simple to get yourself singing a new tune. Reorganize your room. Changing up your space can really freshen things up. Shred your planner. Redo your schedule so you don’t know what's going on. At least it will be something different than whatever you’ve got going on right now. All of this with love of course, but it's time to shape up <3.
Movie Recommendation: La La Land
Libra ♎️: (Sept. 23–Oct. 22)
It’s actually none of your business. Whatever worries have been taking up your brain space are not worth your concern- you should be focusing on yourself and your well-being. This is not to say that you shouldn’t be a good friend. By all means, show your support, and maybe give some good advice here and there, but do not internalize struggles that are not yours. Remember to hold space for you.
Movie Recommendation: Big Hero 6
Scorpio ♏️: (Oct. 23–Nov. 21)
It's actually okay to have fun! On the contrary to your recent beliefs, cracking a smile and going out is actually good for you! Remember all those things that you liked to do for fun? Maybe pick a few back up, just for your sake. There are people who want to assist you in this ‘having a good time’ business, so don’t be afraid to reach out to every extrovert you know. They won’t hesitate to get you out of the house.
Movie Recommendation: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Sagittarius ♐️: (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)
There is no need to sneak around- your presence is wanted. There’s no need to enter into each room timidly. You deserve to be where you are, wherever that may be. You have worked hard, paid your dues, and solidified your place, so walk in with your head held high, your eyelashes curled and your favorite shoes tied tight.
Movie Recommendation: The Devil Wears Prada
Capricorn ♑️: (Dec. 22–Jan. 19)
It is not a crime to disagree with those closest to you. You can question anyone, even if you have the utmost respect for them. Just because your opinions or beliefs are different or contradictory does not make you wrong, and it does not make them wrong. Worldviews are shaped by unique experiences and emotions, and you must remember that. You are not wrong. You are just you.
Movie Recommendation: Moana
Aquarius ♒️: (Jan. 20–Feb. 18)
Those ancient relics from your past can stay buried. There is no need for a full-scale archaeological dig on those emotionally draining moments from high school and whatever other harrowing memories lie below. I promise you can leave those memories in the ground. They will decompose, and fertilize your heart to sprout more mature and meaningful memories. Don’t spend time digging into the past when there are already blooming flowers growing atop it.
Movie Recommendation: Jurassic Park
Pisces ♓️: (Feb. 19–March 20)
It might be time to stop taking yourself so seriously. If you shove yourself into an unbreakable box with a strict regimen, you will not be able to grow. You are too hard on yourself. Your schedule is too packed and particular and you don’t have time for you. You are telling yourself that it's how you like it and this is what being an adult is all about. Maybe it is, but it's not what being you is all about.
Movie Recommendation: Monsters University
