Band Season
Band Camp is the first stop for incoming 9th grade students and all members of the NBHS 'Golden Hurricane' Marching Band. All of the Fall Season dates are required as music, drill, technique, and all other aspects of the marching band are learned.

Handbook and Schedule
Families can now access the 2025-2026 Fall Season Schedule and NBHS Band Handbook.
All members of the NBHS Marching Band must turn in a printed and signed Hurricane contract, along with their Breakage Fee, in order to receive a uniform.
The New Britain High School 'Golden Hurricane' Marching Band was featured in French Pop Star Petite Meller's music video for her original song The Drummer. In the video you will see the class of 2022 representing the high stepping 'Golden Hurricanes' and the City of New Britain on a global scale!
