BHMS and Winnona Park Links Classes Team Up to Fight Food Insecurity
Last week, BHMS Links students visited Winnona Park to teach the second-grade Links crew about food insecurity and nutrition. After their sessions, Winnona Park students got to work organizing a food and supply drive for the Decatur-area Emergency Assistance Ministry (D.E.A.M.). Second graders visited every classroom at Winnona Park and spoke at Community Circle to educate the school community about the food and supply drive, in conjunction with their current expedition, “What Can One Little Person Do?” Great job to the Winnona Park Wildcats for collecting 887 items for D.E.A.M.!
