  2. Scroll down and look at the right hand side.

  • Rehearsals are Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4PM - 6PM. Rehearsals are set by scenes, and musical numbers, so most students are not required at all rehearsals. This begins Tuesday September 16th, 2020. We will have a Google Classroom for the musical, which will have the rehearsal calendar, and practice resources.

  • A schedule will be up ones the cast is chosen. Audition sign up sheets will be on both buildings once the school year begins.

*Auditioning remotely is being taken into account. Regardless, the audition process below remains the same.*

The Audition Process

The audition process is divided into 3 parts. The song and script are available on the website above.

Song: Sing a prepared song.

  • Prepare 45-90 seconds of a song of your choice. It is highly encouraged to prepare a song from the musical, but not required.

Aural Skill: Vocalize the notes played on the piano.

  • The teacher will play 5 notes on the piano, and your goal is to vocalize the notes as accurately as possible.

Script: Read for a character of your choosing. Scripts available on the website.

  • Pick a character from the musical, and read the lines for the character.

Stage Manager / Crew

We will also need a stage crew (stage managers, lights, props, curtains, etc). Six (6) students are needed.

What is a stage crew? Here's an overview.
