Anjali (she/her) is a junior at the Allen School majoring in CS. She took 390R autumn of last year and then followed the track of taking 492R + 499 for winter and spring. The research project she’s been working on is on using virtual reality to help people with Parkinson’s disease, specifically understanding how we can use VR to provoke the phenomenon of “freezing of gait” in a safe environment to allow clinicians to help with rehabilitation and treatment. She’s been able to continue this project now into her third year, having presented at a couple of conferences and working towards data collection/actual participants and a potential publication for the future!
Lucas (he/him) is currently a senior at the Allen School working under Professor B. Shapiro and at the Mobile Intelligence Lab under Professor Shyam Gollakota. His research areas revolve around Computer Vision and HCI. His interest is in Computing Education.
Javon (he/him) is a third-year CS student at the Allen School. He has experience with projects revolving around research areas in multimodal machine learning, computer vision, and ML fairness. Throughout his research experiences, he has participated in DREU 2023 and presented his work at multiple conferences.
