Welcome! This is a reading group hosted weekly at Stanford, where we discuss works centered on education, computer science, and other related areas.
Current organizers: Rose E. Wang & Gabriel Poesia
We'd love for external speakers to talk at our reading group, as long as their talks pertain to education. We allow for talks to be both in person (at Stanford) and over Zoom!
If you'd like to give a talk, please note that our reading group takes place at <TODO: TIME>. If this time works for you, please email Rose (rewang@cs.stanford.edu) and Gabriel (gpoesia@stanford.edu) with:

Our interdisciplinary group is committed to uplifting students & researchers & educators from all backgrounds! We want to build an inclusive culture and community, and do our part to create a more equitable world---both within our own academic circles and beyond. If you have any concerns or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out!
This reading group intends on bringing together the abundance of researchers studying education-related problems at Stanford (e.g., within Stanford's School of Education, Economics Department, Computer Science department), as there wasn't a community unifying these different groups!
This reading group then formed in light of this need, Prof. Sara Achour's recommendation to make a reading group to address this need & kind funding from Prof. Chris Piech.
