Our Ministry

Kristina and I both joined staff with Cru after we graduated from college. We both saw God work in tremendous ways transforming our lives while we were college students.  We, therefore, consider it a privilege to give our lives to reach people with the Gospel and make disciples of Jesus!

We had been missionaries in Brazil for many years. (Kristina- 10 years, Luke 6 1/2 years)  We saw God answer the prayer to raise up a team of native Brazilians to be the full-time missionaries there.   In 2009, we transitioned back to the US to help reach college students who need Jesus.  We lived in a suburb of Minneapolis for 6 years and now have lived Phillips neighborhood of South Minneapolis since 2016.  In the Summer of 2024, we transitioned to Neighbors, a Ministry strategy of Cru.   

We imagine a world where, someday, everyone will have heard about Jesus, had a chance to respond to the Gospel, and experience the abundant life of living for Him as their Lord. 

That is why we will continue to serve God with our time, talents and treasures in the mission field of the City of Minneapolis.  Luke primarily works with Immigrants, Internationals and refugees in South Minneapolis. Kristina helps me a ton in this ministry and in ministry through our church.  She also gets to work from home where she does her favorite role... mothering  and homeschooling Eliana & Evie!
