OK, so you need some help with Operations.
"Operations" in our Cru lingo is a catch-all term for anything that is not directly sharing the gospel and discipling students. So there's a lot with which you might want help.
Marketing — Ryan McReynolds is the director of Marketing and can point you in the right direction for best practices on running facebook ads, etc.
External Communications — Audrey Ross and her team can help you with strategies for communicating to students, especially how to reach more students in your scope who don't know about Cru.
Internal Communications — Wendy Sanchez and her team direct information to/from the National Team. Join Workplace to be part of conversations with peers across the country. Submission guidelines and procedures for the all campus staff emails and National Campus Calendar. Guidelines for graphics, branding and written style: Style Guides.
Graphic Design — Cru has a Creative1Media team that can do photography, graphic design, and video. Please fill out this form and someone from the team will be in touch. For campus ministry-related projects, there is no fee for the work unless C1M incurs cost while fulfilling your request. (For example: print costs, a flight, housing, food, etc.) Due to the volume of requests, for any project that is outside the campus ministry there will be a nominal fee agreed upon before we begin the project.
Social Media — We've got a whole guide on how to launch your campus well in the fall. And there's a great Social Media training on Cru.org's digital ministry page.
If you need help, our friends on the Field Finance team can either do things for you or direct you to the right person. FieldFinance@cru.org.
The Field Finance team has created a self-paced training guide that walks through all the details of managing finances for a local team. The Field Staff Financial Training can be found here.
The Lord has provided funding to invest in specific key strategies across the campus ministry. We now have a site called National Funding Available that outlines the current process for requesting various types of funding. Currently, you’ll find Freshman Survival Kits (FSKs) and U.S. Launch Strategies represented. Additional strategies will be added throughout the year including: International Launch Trips, Winter Conference Scholarships, Speakers Forum and Summer Missions Scholarships.
If you're looking to raise funds for your campuses, there are a number of ways to do it. Jim Dempsey has worked to create a website called Team Gold that walks you through all the details. You can also connect with Geoff Freeman who can point you to people near you who work to help you raise funds for your campus.
As for building a healthy alumni network, Meagan Moran in Boston has been working on it for a few years now and can point you toward some others who have done it too.
2020... Obviously, Covid19 has changed all our plans in this section... I confess, it's out of date this year :)
Fall Retreat — If you're in charge of planning a Fall Retreat (Getaway), we've got all the details you need. And if you want help promoting your fall retreat, you can order promo materials.
Cru Winter Conference — If you've got a role planning part of one of Cru's Winter Conferences, this page has all the right info you need. If you're working to get students to come to a Winter Conference near you, here's the page.
Conference Operations Help—If you'd like to host a smaller meeting and would like Conference Operations help, we have a limited capacity and would love to figure out how to help you. Click here to see our levels of service.
If you are planning a small meeting or cohort gathering on your own, check out our Conference in a Box Operations Planning Guide to help you walk through the process and get many of your questions answered.

Childcare: There is no one department to whom a childcare coordinator reports. It is a stand alone role similar to someone in charge of prayer, ambiance, or social activities at a conference. See the approved Conference Childcare Overview for more details on running a childcare program at an event.
