Sue Blair, Croydon Village School Leader, comes to the Croydon School District as our Senior Education Officer/ LEA/ Principal. Sue has dedicated her career to supporting all learners as each child learns to have confidence in their abilities and to children learn that challenges help each one of use learn about what we "can achieve" despite the difficulties. Sue's experience includes over twenty years as an Early Childhood teacher and experience serving a variety of NH Districts in a leadership capacity for an additional twenty plus years. "KIds First" is the platform on which she supports learners.

Mrs. O'Neill has spent the last ten years teaching k students in San Diego, CA. Mrs. O'Neill and her family live in Claremont, NH.

Mary-Beth Scanlon is the K/1 Classroom teacher and Special Education Case Manager at Croydon Village School. She is excited to continue her educational journey as the K/1 grade classroom teacher and special education case manager/ teacher for special education students in grades PreK- 4 at Croydon Village School. Mary-Beth formerly worked at Croydon Village School as a paraprofessional in Little Red from 1996-2010. Before her return, she worked as a preschool teacher at Richards School in Newport for 7 years.

Mary-Beth lives in Newport with her husband Bill. She has one adult son named Kaplan who lives in Croydon and has two grandchildren: Evelyn and Marcus. When Mary-Beth is not at school, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, gardening and snowshoeing.

Patricia Trader graduated from Grand Valley State University, in Grand Rapids Michigan, in 1986. She moved to NH in 1991, to teach Elementary music for the Franklin Public Schools. During her tenure there she also served as Middle school general music, Chorus, and Drama teacher and High school Choral Director. Mrs. Trader Earned a Master of Music in Education from Boston University in 2008. That same year she left the Franklin Public Schools.

Mrs. Trader taught for several years at the Newport Montessori School as well as several local preschools. She enjoys making music with others, especially children, and helping them explore the world of sound. “Something magical occurs when people come together to make music, she says, “It unites them in a way that nothing else can.”

Mrs. Trader joined the Croydon Village School in 2012. “What I enjoy most about teaching here is the small class sizes,” she said. “It really allows me to get to know each child’s strengths and weaknesses, and cater to their interests.

Becky Merrow joined Croydon Village School as the Physical Education teacher in 2017. Born and raised in Newport, NH, she previously worked as the PE teacher at Richards School for 12 years. She currently works at the Newport Recreation Department and resides in Newport with her husband and their three beagles. She enjoys working with the children at Croydon and loves their adventurous nature.

Brook Randell lives in Croydon with he husband, Kent and their daughter. Mrs. Randell serves the students of CVS as our Art teacher and paraeducator for the 2-4 class.

Miss Becca is entering her sixth year at the Croydon Village School. She is excited for this coming school year and all the learning that our CVS family will do together. She lives here in Croydon with her daughter Lillian.
