Please Note:

🚨 It is strongly recommended that teachers use the web version of Classroom on a computer. This guide is provided for teachers who do not have internet access at home.

Once you have opened the app and entered your classroom...

1️⃣ Click on Classwork

2️⃣ Click the + and choose Assignment

3️⃣ Enter your assignment details

4️⃣ Click the 📎 to attach a file

5️⃣ Select Drive

6️⃣ Since "Shared Drives" is not an option, click the 🔍 to search

7️⃣ Enter the specific name of the district lesson file (if you don't know the name, check with someone on your team)

8️⃣ Click the 👁️‍🗨️ to change the setting from "students can view file" to "make a copy for each student"

9️⃣ Click the ▶️ to assign, or the dots to schedule
