Dare to decide
Crossroads Teen Centre offers Christian-based recreational, social and educational programs, projects and activities in a safe and stable environment.
Here at Crossroads Teen Centre, we aim to see mature high school learners equipped to face this world, empowered to maximize their potential and confident to lead the way for their peers to experience the same.
To provide focused recreational, social and educational programmed, projects and activities to the youth in a safe and stable environment based on christian principles.
The purpose of these initiatives is to address the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, creative and educational well-being of each young person.
Crossroads Teen Centre is open to any learners in high school between the ages of 12 and 20.
A small joining fee of R50 is charged, which enables teens access to all programs available at Crossroads, and ensure that Crossroads is accessible to learners from all backgrounds.
Members can earn points at the centre, these points called "Roadies" have monetary value at the centre's tuck shop and printing facilities.
These points also accumulate and members can improve their status and privileges at the centre through earning points..
Crossroads Teen Centre holds different kinds of programs that improve and empower the youth.
We have programs like Life Survivor, Kids for Christ, Sewing Classes, Boys and Girls Club and other programs which are carried out throughout the year.
We run these programs every week and are accessible to all registered members.
Sponsor A Teen
Dear Potential Sponsor,
We want to reach out to you as a supporter. Crossroads Teen Centre has over 200 registered teenagers that are in need of education help.
Most of our teens are from rural areas and unfortunately cannot afford to pay for tutorial sessions to help improve their grades in High School. Most of these teenagers also struggle with English. Our aim is to provide free tutorial sessions to our teens in subjects like Math, Physics, Life Science, Accounting, Geography, Math Literature, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing & English among others. We help teens from Grade 8 to Grade 12 from Monday to Friday, 3PM to 5PM.
In order for us to help these teenagers, we as an NPO need sponsors. The funding given toward this specific program is used for paying tutors, stationary & other required material like school books.
This is just one of the ways to get involved at Crossroads. At the current moment, this is our biggest need and you can help by donating for a teen to get the support he/she needs! For more details on how much funding is required, please contact our Centre Manager but know that every little count! See below our banking details.
