I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Philippians 1:3-5
Crossroads Camp relies entirely on the generosity, prayers, and time of faithful believers who want to see young lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether you are moved to give financially, support us in prayer, or volunteer at Camp, you are vital to what God is doing. We are forever grateful for all who support this ministry, and truly believe that God will reward your faithfulness to this work of sharing the truth about Jesus Christ.
Your financial support allows us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with children who could not otherwise afford to attend camp. Crossroads Camp believes in showing the grace of God by never refusing to allow a child to attend who cannot afford to pay. For many years, the vast majority of campers have received scholarships to reduce or eliminate their camp fee. Crossroads Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible (EIN 32-0262846).
Crossroads Camp cherishes your prayers. We believe that prayer is a great blessing for the believer to participate in God's plan for our lives. We ask that you continually remember us in your prayers, specifically for the following:
We always pray for more campers. Over the years, we have observed fewer families who are interested in sending their children to Christian summer camps. We ask you to pray that God will send campers who need salvation, spiritual growth, or just encouragement. We ask you to pray that God will prepare the hearts of all campers who attend Crossroads Camp for the work of the Holy Spirit, and that God will protect our campers during the week so they can find rest from difficult home environments, or just enjoyment of the fellowship with Christian campers and staff.
We ask you to pray that God will raise up spiritual men and women to serve on our staff during the week. We ask you to pray that God will bless all those who participate and position their lives, work, and finances in such a way that they can devote themselves entirely to the work of the ministry during the week of camp. We ask you to pray for Hargis staff who faithfully prepare the facilities we enjoy each year, prepare our meals, and provide a safe and fun environment for our campers.
We ask you to pray that God continues to bless us with wonderful facilities to host camp. We ask you to pray that God meets the financial and material needs of our camp operations as He has so faithfully done for the past 30 years. We ask you to pray for good stewardship for all those involved in planning and executing at camp. We ask you to pray that our leadership always seeks to do His will and conducts camp operations in a way that honors our Father God and His Son Jesus Christ.
We rely on a dedicated team of volunteers to make camp function each year. You don't have to be a preacher to work at camp—we are looking for people who simply love the Lord and want to serve Him through children's ministry.
If you have a servant’s heart and a desire to invest in the next generation, we invite you to apply to join our summer staff.
