Mr. Milton Haughton, Executive Director, Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM) Secretariat
He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, the University of Buckingham, London Metropolitan University, and the University of Law in London. He holds postgraduate qualifications in fisheries, general management and law, and has over 43 years of work experience in fisheries in the Caribbean. Beginning in 1991, he served as Scientific Director with the CRFM's predecessor - the CARICOM Fisheries Resource Assessment and Management Programme (CFRAMP). He has served the CRFM since its inception in 2003. He initially served as the Deputy Executive Director of the CRFM and became the CRFM's Executive Director in December 2011. Mr. Haughton brought to the CRFM a wealth of experience in fisheries, aquaculture development, governance, coastal and marine resource conservation and management, public administration, project management, and law.
