NBHS Drama Club promotes students' love of all aspects of theatre, both performance and production. Joining the club allows those passionate about theatre to connect with like-minded individuals and create a sense of community with similar passions. (Membership in ITS is not a requirement to participate in the Drama Club.)

The International Thespian Society is an international honors society. It recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond what is available through the school and district. Membership is earned and maintained by actively participating in theatrical productions, meetings, and fundraisers. There is a one-time fee of $50 to join. Membership allows students to participate in theatre-related field trips, competitions, social activities, and leadership opportunities. Because it is an honors society, ITS students may earn a graduation cord. In addition, ITS is beneficial to put on college or job applications and may provide scholarship opportunities.
