About me

Hi friends! Welcome to first grade! I am Mrs. Morrissey! This is my 4th year teaching at Roger Bell. Previously, I have taught 2nd Grade at Roger Bell- this is my first year teaching 1st Grade and I am so excited! I am married to Mr. Morrissey, we have a little toddler named Charlotte (Charlie for short), and a big, silly dog named Suzie. I am originally from Vermont, but after college, I lived in Boston for a few years (Go Red Sox)! I have lived in New Bern for 3 years, and I love living in North Carolina because I like living close to the beach and I love the warmer weather! For fun, I love to go to the beach, go camping, ride my bike, paint, and read. I love spending time with my family and friends and I am so excited to spend your first grade year with you!
