Why Music Education?
I chose to enter the teaching profession because I believe that learning is important. I want my students to be actively listening, participating, and engaging in the music. I love teaching because it gives me a chance to influence the next generation. I believe that creating strong relationships with faculty, students, and parents is an important part of the teaching profession. I am able to combine my love of music and teaching in perfect harmony. One of my goals is to create comprehensive musicianship in my students as well as help foster their love of music. Another goal of mine is to create self-motivated learners by inspiring them to dream big, work hard, and never give up. My career goal is to build a program of strong musicians by teaching the basics, adding new ideas, performing well.
