"Giant Steps" is a famous song by tenor saxophonist John Coltrane.   John Coltrane's solo on the song has become a staple of the jazz community and one that many attempt to master.  The song is very famous and the background to it, called Coltrane Changes, can be found in many songs that came after it.  Many consider it the song that put John Coltrane on the map!  

Unfortunately, John Coltrane couldn't join us today, but here is the Tony Babecka All-Star Sax Quartet playing the Tony Babecka arrangement with the first third of the John Coltrane solo on the John Coltrane tune, "Giant Steps".
