Keep your website evaluation sheets as a separate file and submit only your paper and Works Cited Page. Submit more than once and correct your inaccuracies. If you have never used Turnitin.com and the above is not enough, watch this video. Click on the appropriate submission: file on computer or Google Drive.

Please attach and submit 2 documents: (1) paper, works cited and (2) evaluation sheets together. Not everyone will have website evaluations. Google Docs, Word or PDF are acceptable files to submit.

This will count as a test grade.
You are not required to utilize the rule of 3 for your "groupings".
New thought = new paragraph and these thoughts should be reflective in the thesis.
FORMAT & CONTENT
1. Single spaced heading for text page 1 (right click on the font and click paragraph and type in 0 and 0 for spacing in between):

Size 12 Times New Roman Font/Calibri.
Give your paper a title.
Do not change the borders/page setup! 1" around
The first page (that is all text) should have the following page number format:

4. Content
Your intro/thesis should still include the date as you always do for your AP essays.
Contextualization - you do not need to have the full AP format. Include the definition.
You can create a new paragraph for a new idea vs. limiting yourself to three groupings.
YOU DO NOT NEED 3 GROUPINGS. THIS IS NOT AN AP ESSAY FORMAT.
Your conclusion should be no less than 5 sentences.
Do not QUOTE!
Remember write the paper as if you are teaching the topic to someone else.
Include: who, what, where, why, when, how, significance.
RESEARCH - DON'T FORGET
NO WIKIPEDIA
You need to use 3 books (try to use actual books verses digital = good practice for college), 2 websites (minimum):
The books can be in the form of: actual research books, digital books can be found via the Library Databases, your textbook, primary source reader or review books.
Many of the digital resources are also in print. Example: World Book, Britannica -> Can be considered digital or a book. Apply it to what you need for your Works Cited.
Make sure you stay within the parameters of the time period (if one was provided).
It is O.K. to discuss the impact your topic has had on the modern world (WORLD HISTORY).
CITATION HELP
Make sure you are using the MLA style! Some of the online sources give you the citation already (World Book).

HELP! I don't know when to cite a source! When to use parenthetical citations and when not to.
SAMPLE MLA PAPER AND GUIDE - MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS! CITATIONS MUST BE CORRECT THROUGHOUT THE PAPER; if Microsoft did your citations for you in the latest format you are good (this paper is an older version of MLA)! SINGLE SPACE THE HEADING, no page # on page 1.

Make sure you are on MLA format (most recent version of MLA is fine) copy paste the citation to a word document. All sources including library databases need to be cited. You do not need to cite teacher handouts in the works cited. You should be citing the specific articles you used on sources like World Book. Many website like World Book provide the citation on the bottom of the page. When in doubt CITE it!
If an item is missing in the source's publication, leave it blank! (Example volume # is not provided)
For those of you that are technologically challenged here are additional tutorial videos: Use this or the videos below to help you with formatting the paper (header, page numbers etc.). Use the heading that I provided not the one in the videos.
