FILM AND VIDEO II & III

Filmmaking is a multifaceted art form. It involves skill sets in many areas: writing, teamwork and communication, camera operation, lighting design, sound recording, costume creation, prop building, editing, time management, and more. In Film II & III, students explore filmmaking at a deeper level.

Advanced film students will create longer, more complex films. They will expand their skills with technical tools and conceptual ideas, diving into more advanced screenwriting, cinematography, production design, performance, sound design, and editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Students will also grow their film analysis skills by making a video essay review about a piece of media of their choice.

Finished films will be showcased in the annual Film Festival at the end of the year.
