My name is Linda Rocco and I have been a teacher at Scammon for 18 years. I have taught multiple grade levels throughout my career. I was excited when I was asked to try my hand at Literacy Resource. I am qualified for the position due to the fact that several years ago I completed my Reading Specialist Masters, also anyone who knows me I always have a book in my hand. One of my major goals this year is to try and get students to find their love for reading. As you know many of us are reluctant until we find that one great Author that catches our interest and the rest is history. As an avid reader I have an extensive knowledge for authors and books I can recommend to both parents and students please feel free to contact me and I will try to locate books for you. Please remember if a child sees an adult reading it's the best modeling in the world.
