We are excited to announce the winner of the Student Googlepalooza Logo Contest! This year’s winner is Eli Shearer! Eli is an 8th grader in Ms. Passolt's class at Whitney Young High School on the Near West Side.
For this year’s logo contest, we are celebrating 10 Years of Googlepalooza and students were asked to demonstrate 10 different ways to use Google in their everyday lives - Ten Things I Can Do With Google! Eli noted that, among other things, Google can be used to give a presentation, read news articles, go on a video call, send emails, locate and navigate using google maps, and translate to other languages. His illustration shows off these Google tools beautifully!
To all the students who entered, THANK YOU for entering the 2024 Googlepalooza Logo Design Contest. The Googlepalooza team greatly appreciates all of your hard work and we LOVED looking at your wonderful designs!

Lincoln Park High School
Congratulations to this year's winner Emeline Ramirez! Emeline is an 11th grader at Lincoln Park High School, and a Visual Arts Major. Emeline's winning design will be featured on all the materials for the Googlepalooza conference that is happening in August. Additionally, she will be receiving a prize from Google! How cool is that!?
What inspired Emeline's creation? "In elementary school, things like a rocket ship, for example, were used for exploration. In my logo I wanted to indicate how these explorers are learning and helping each other be familiar with the school supplies. Using pastel colors helps this logo to be brighter and more colorful as I remembered being back in elementary school."
