Hi! My name is Guzman. I am Deaf and work as a Signing SECA (Special Education Classroom Assistant) at Bell School. My goal is to share my language, American Sign Language (ASL), with our school community.
I started making several storytime videos in ASL in spring 2020 for my school's Weekly Storytime - for our students and the school community to enjoy during the COVID pandemic. I also made couple of baking videos in ASL. These videos also help to continue ASL exposure for our Deaf students - many of them may not have intensive exposure to ASL at home. In addition, I provided ASL translation to several educational books and videos for Ms. Boggan's Learn at Home ASL Resource 4 Deaf (link).
I plan on continue making new videos, whenever I can. I am happy and proud to share ASL with my students and the school community! 😄
