Chromebooks are a fantastic addition to any classroom! They run a very modern and very secure operating system that is easy to configure, and easy to maintain. These cloud-based devices deliver the same simple user experience both inside and outside of the classroom. All you need is an internet connection!

From a management perspective, ownership doesn't get easier than Chromebooks. When users are logged in with a @cps.edu account, all files are automatically synced with Google Drive. That means that a lost or broken device doesn't result in lost work. Just log into another Chromebook and continue working, seemlessly.

Chromebooks are quite easy to repair! A complete factory reset of the device can be accomplished in under 5 minutes. Common breakable parts, such as screens, can typically be replaced using a standard electronics driver set.
