Course Description

8th Grade Choir is open to any 8th grader looking for a chance to keep singing and to keep developing more advanced musicianship skills. 8th graders have up to 4 performances during the year.


Performance Attire

8th Grade Choir students are asked to wear black pants, black shoes, and black socks with their music department t-shirt. This uniform is required for all formal performances.

T-shirts are handed out at the beginning of the year to students as they pay the shirt fee. Should you misplace your shirt or grow out of your old one, extras may be available as a trade or for purchase. In the case your shirt cannot be replaced a plain black t-shirt with no logos can be worn. If this uniform presents a financial hardship students can email their director for assistance.


Fees

8th graders choir members must purchase the music department t-shirt for $15. Students who already have a shirt do not need to pay for a new one. A department fundraiser may be planned, but this will be determined at a later date.

  • December 6, 2019 @ 7:00 p.m. - Choir Concert (6-12)

  • March 10, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m. - Music Festival (7-12)

  • May 18, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m. - Final MS Concert (6-8)
