I'm running as fast as I can, and I believe I have consolidated all the information sent, however I may have missed some of your responses, or perhaps they were not sent. In any case we need a little more so we can complete the plans. Please send you emails to brucelwickert@gmail.com with replies.

Additional Information Needed to Plan the Tour

If you haven't decided to rent a bike from Sam, please include your dimensions, and send them to John Szeto johnszeto@charter.net He needs frame size, saddle width (unless you bring your own), and dimensions A, B, C, and D in millimeters. (See attached chart). This is only for Bill and Agnes, and may well be an oversight.

We are still on track to start the tour with bus pickup at the IBIS hotel at the Paris CDG airport terminal 3 Saturday 16 July at 10 AM and return from Rennes to CDG on 31 July by 3 PM (1500). Please indicate whether you will be on either bus.

In addition, Please send your arrival date, airline, flight number, and arrival time. It's about a 6 hour bus ride to Rennes. If your flight arrives on the 16th, plan to arrange for a flight that arrives by 8 AM to be sure you collect your bags, and clear customs to be at the IBIS by 10 AM. Bus times may be adjusted if we know your flight is delayed. If you don't make the bus, plan to travel by train to Rennes, as the hotel is near the train station.

Similarly, the bus will Travel from Rennes to CDG IBIS on 31 July, and hopefully leave by 9 AM, arriving at the airport at 3 PM, so also include Departure date, airline, flight number, and departure time. If your flight departs on the 31st, plan to arrange for a flight that departs after 5 PM (1700) to give yourself time to check-in with the airlines, as there are always long lines. If you need to be at the airport sooner, plan to take a train from Rennes to CDG.

During the tour, we plan to stay in Lorient on 26 July. There are two major destinations to visit in this port city, requiring advanced reservations. First is the German submarine museum, http://www.musee-sous-marin.com/ . The Second is a sailing museum, Cite de la Voile Eric Tabarly, https://www.citevoile-tabarly.com/fr. Time is insufficient to visit both, so you must choose one or the other or none.

Partial Tour

For those not planning to stay for the entire tour, we need that information too. The default first and last days for tour provided hotel rooms are July 16 and July 30. I know of three people who are planning to do only part of the tour. If you do not plan to be with us for the full two weeks, that would be helpful for our planners in coordinating with the hotels and restaurants. Those not participating in all events or days will not have the missed events or days included in estimated or final cost.

You can email me with that information, as soon as you know. Sooner is better, but no later than when the final payments will be posted on May 1.

Upcoming Information

We expect to have most of the details down, including tour routing, electronic maps, and balance due. We expect to have that by May 1, and expect final payment to either Chris or Amedee.

Additional Riders

The ride is now full, but it is possible that someone may need to cancel, so if you know someone who is interested, and has travel flexibility they may be able to "fill in" for whoever needs to step away from this FANTASTIC tour. If you know such a person, please have them send me an email with information Deposit will be paid when a spot becomes available. and I , and I will coordinate with Amedee and Chris to get them on the participant list. We will know by June 1, which is the last tour cancellation date
