Welcome to 8th Grade ELA! I am looking forward to getting everyone prepared for a year of success in meeting their ELA goals, the Georgia Milestones, and moving on to high school.

Here is a little advice to help you along the way:

• Always ask for help.
• Think, first, before you speak.
• Dictionary.com can be your friend when defining an unknown word.
• Relax. Don't take everything so seriously.
• Know what you are interested in and work towards it.
