Le film s’intéresse à l’un d’entre eux l’accusé numéro 2, héros méconnu de la lutte contre l’apartheid et mentor de Mandela : Walter Sisulu.

256 hours of sound archives recorded during the Rivonia trial (9 months) were recently unearthed and digitised by the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (INA). They bring back to life the political battle waged by Mandela and his 7 co-defendants. This film looks at one of them in particular: accused number 2, a lesser-known hero of the struggle against Apartheid, Mandela’s mentor Walter Sisulu.
