The IURC BRAIN Center, led by Dr. José Contreras-Vidal, recently hosted an innovative and immersive event that brought brain science to life through the rhythm of music. This unique showcase featured a live musical performance enhanced by real-time projections of brain activity, offering attendees a rare and captivating glimpse into how the human brain responds to sound and rhythm in action.
Two of our distinguished team members, Bryan Hlavinka and Alan Robles, played a pivotal role in making this event possible. Their technical and scientific contributions helped demonstrate the power of neurotechnology and its ability to visualize brain function in real time. Their efforts translated complex neuroscience into a tangible, engaging experience for a broad audience.
The performance, featuring the lively and culturally rich sounds of @mariachisanasana, beautifully fused science, art, and culture. The event exemplified the BRAIN Center’s mission to drive innovation at the intersection of technology and human experience, creating meaningful public engagement with cutting-edge research.
