Dear Jo and Anilla
"Thank you so much for the Grand Iftar on Thursday. It was a magnificent event - truly on a grand scale! The speakers were all interesting, and the food was delicious. It is great that the school celebrates cultural diversity and harmony in this way. It was remarkable that so many young people attended with their families, and that so many members of staff volunteered to help. It was credit to your organisation, Anilla, and to your leadership, Jo, in promoting that ethos of engagement with the life of the school community beyond the classroom. Congratulations."
Best wishes
Graham

"Thank you to all of the school staff who gave up their time to plan and host this year's Grand Iftar. It was lovely to bring so many from the school community together to break their fast, and to hear the reflections on charity and the importance of mutual respect from the local multi-faith speakers.
Have a lovely weekend and Eid Mubarak to everyone who will be celebrating on Monday."

Dear Mrs Butler and all the staff involved,
"I would just like to sincerely thank you for giving everyone the chance to break fast together. I have attended the Iftar for the last three years, and each year it has grown, and become more successful. I always come away feeling blessed. Grateful that we have the chance to break our fast with everyone from different religions, it’s such a nice shared experience. I love to hear the talks from the chosen speakers, it makes it a lovely special experience.
I just wanted to say that we really appreciate what you do, and really appreciate that you care, and appreciate that you go the extra mile to make Cotham School an Inclusive environment.
Thanks again for your hard work and God willing we really look forward to Iftar 2026. "
Kind Regards
