Having taught in numerous Online Learning and Blended settings, I cannot stress enough the importance of consistency. Having everything they need under one umbrella will make a world of difference for your students and families. Setting up one space as a one-stop shop will streamline the experience for your learners and help you keep organized at the same time.
Google Classroom and Schoology will be our primary Learning Management Systems (LMS) for our Distance Learning efforts. Class assignments, announcements, video lectures, etc. will be posted in these platforms. You are welcome to incorporate other resources, however you should plan to post those to Google Classroom or Schoology as links.

Zoom is a popular new video conferencing alternative that we recommend. It takes a little bit more to learn the setup process for scheduling meetings, but that learning curve is worth it for the added features it allows.
