2019 Community Read

New Date: Wednedsay, Feb. 20

Join our school's annual community read — when the whole school reads a book there's a lot to talk about!

Science Fair is Wednesday!

Wednesday, Dec. 5

Annual Juried Science Fair for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders is this week. Prizes will be awarded! Held in the school atrium.

Holiday Concert and Book Fair coming up!

Wednesday, December 12, 5:00pm - 7:30pm

Next week we will be having our annual Holiday Concert and Book Fair. Students will have a chance to visit the book fair throughout the school week. Then, on Wednesday night our wonderful Holiday Concert will begin at 5:00pm. Our students will sing festive songs in a heated tent, while cookies and hot chocolate will be served in the East Teachers Lounge, and Santa will be in the atrium. The book fair will be opened that night also.

Thanks for an amazing Fall Carnival!!

On Saturday, Oct. 27, we had a huge turnout for our 58th annual Fall Carnival. Fun, games, prizes and scares were had by all. Our best-yet haunted house was a huge success, as well as our cake walk, and all our many games. Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who pulled together to make this event a success!!! And thanks especially to our sponsors!

Scary Stories was a hit!

On Wednesday, Oct. 17, our community gathered for a fun family literacy event! Costume-wearing students listened to spooky and not-so-spooky stories in classrooms throught our school. The pumpkin raffle was a huge success, so many creative and beautiful pumpkins were sold to raise over $1300 for our school PTA!

Balloons Aloft was Friday, Oct. 5

Two balloons were on our field Friday morning and our students were able to climb into the gondolas and meet the balloonists. Breakfast was served and fun was had by all!
