Mrs. Scott

Mrs. Scott grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and, like most people from there, is a devoted Steelers fan. She has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and worked in the electric utility industry for 28 years. Most recently Mrs. Scott worked as a volunteer in the library at St. Jarlath. In her spare time, in addition to reading, she loves to hike in the east bay hills with her dogs and to tend her garden.

From early childhood, weekly visits with her mother to the local library fostered a love for books. Mrs. Scott fondly remembers her first library position: being a member of the "Library Squad" in middle school, back in the day of the card catalog and microfiche. She enjoyed volunteering in the Corpus Christi library when her daughter was a student here. Her favorite types of books to read are Mysteries and Historical Fiction.
