Sadie Zhao

Hi, I'm Sadie :) 

I'm a PhD student at Harvard University, and I am very fortunate to be advised by the wonderful Professor Yiling Chen. Before starting my PhD, I completed my undergrad in Mathematics and Computer Science at Pomona College. I am also grateful to have worked closely with Amy Greenwald and Denizalp Goktas from Brown University.

My research interests lie at the intersection of economics and computer science. In particular, I use tools from game theory and multi-agent learning to model, analyze, and design decision-making processes in economic environments, including markets and other multi-agent systems. I am especially interested in equilibrium computation and mechanism design in dynamic economic models. More recently, I have begun exploring how ideas from game theory and multi-agent learning can inform the post-training and alignment of large language models.
