I attended my first boot camp back in 2015 and it was truly one of my most favorite professional development experiences I've ever had. Since then, I've had the privilege of being a facilitator at four more boot camp experiences. Boot camp is one of my most anticipated events each year and this guide reflects all the learning and experience I've had with them.

I want to be clear though, I didn't start this journey on my own. I've had an incredible team who has shared the load along the way and has taught me many valuable lessons. This guide reflects our hard work and effort we've put in over the years we've worked together.

Each year my team and I host a Boot Camp featuring G Suite for Education. We started out by hosting a Fundamentals Camp (Level 1) and over the years we've added an Advanced Camp (Level 2). Each camp is two days long with an optional exam session on the third day.

During both the Level 1 and Level 2 workshops, participants discover the power of Google's suite of web-based tools, learn to effectively employ technology in the classroom, and prepare to pass either the Google Certified Educator Level 1 or Level 2 exam. The Boot Camps are divided into multiple sessions, each of which include high-energy interactive activities, top tips from the G Suite Training Center, collaborative projects, and inspiring ideas for how to use Google Apps for teaching, learning, and professional collaboration.
