Summertime is a wonderful opportunity for our students to participate in fun,  enriching activities right here at Cornerstone! We are offering two weeks filled with fun and adventure on our campus - June 16-20, 2025 and June 23-27, 2025. At Camp Cornerstone, campers will enjoy classes and activities led by our own amazing teachers, designed especially for our own amazing students. 

Camp Cornerstone is only available to students from Cornerstone Christian Academy. Many camps fill up on the first day of registration, so register early for the best selection.

A week of laughter, creativity, and confidence-building awaits! This fun-filled week will have your child acting in skits, creating props and costumes, learning backstage secrets, and engaging in interactive games and activities—all while building confidence and teamwork. Are you an out-of-the-box thinker? Do you love to use your creativity to solve problems? Then, we have a camp for you! Mrs. Archibald and Mrs. Black will bring a challenge for the day and the materials; you bring your amazing mind. Together, we will have a blast completing tasks in inventive ways. 

Basketball Camp

Rising 5th - 8th Grade

Students will learn the fundamentals of basketball and engage in drills and games.

Rube Goldberg Machines: The Ultimate Challenge!

Rising 4th - 6th Grade

Led by Mrs. McGukin

Think Mouse Trap, but even wackier and more fun! These machines are all about making a chain of crazy, fun actions to do something easy—like pushing a button that says “That was easy!” But here’s the catch: they don’t always work on the first try! In this class, you’ll create your own mind-blowing machine using random stuff from the science lab! From rolling marbles to flipping levers, the possibilities are endless! Get ready for lots of laughs, problem-solving, and epic machine-making fun—because in the world of Rube Goldberg, no task is too simple! Let’s get building!

Verse Voyagers

Rising 4th-6th Grade

Unleash your creativity and dive into the world of poetry this summer! In this fun and engaging class, students in grades 4-6 will explore different types of poetry, from rhyming couplets to free verse, haikus to acrostic poems. Campers will experiment with words, rhythms, and their own unique voices to craft poems that express their thoughts, dreams, and stories. With interactive activities, writing prompts, and group collaborations, this class is perfect for young poets who love to write, imagine, and share their ideas in creative ways!

Simple Wood Crafts

Rising 4th - 6th Grade

Do you want to make a craft with pallet wood or scrap wood? Come join our summer mini woodshop class and make something to put up on the wall, on your desk or out in your yard at home!  Come learn to use some simple hand tools and maybe a few power tools.

Science Sleuths

Join us for an exciting and hands-on adventure in the world of science, where we’ll tackle some of the most popular myths and misconceptions! In this interactive class, campers will put their detective hats on and explore common science myths—such as whether sugar makes kids hyper or if a hot pavement can fry eggs!—through experiments, demonstrations, and critical thinking activities. Together, we'll separate fact from fiction and discover the true wonders of the world around us! This camp is perfect for young explorers who love asking questions, solving mysteries, and learning how science works in the real world.

The Joy of Knitting

Introduce your rising 4th, 5th, or 6th grader to the timeless art of knitting in a fun and relaxed camp setting. Campers will learn the basics of knitting, including how to cast on, knit, and purl, while creating simple, colorful projects to take home. Along the way, they’ll develop patience, creativity, and fine motor skills in a supportive environment.  This camp is perfect for fostering a love of handmade crafts. Class size is limited.

Cook it Up! FULL

Rising 1st - 3rd Grade

Meaningful Math With Mrs. Libby

Rising 1st - 3rd Grade

Let's freshen our skills while making math meaningful!  Mrs. Libby will be teaching an afternoon session of Literacy in Mathematics for grades 1-3!  In this class we will explore math in picture books/literature, connect thinking through math journals, design math art that relates to real world math problems, identify and teach math vocabulary, identify patterns and connections through word sorts, and encourage collaboration with math circles/centers. This camp is sure to be a great way to keep those math skills fresh!

Level Up With Math & Logic! 

Rising 4th - 5th Grade

Get ready for a fun-filled week of puzzles, games, and challenges designed to sharpen young minds! Our summer camp session for rising 4th and 5th graders focuses on developing logic, reasoning, and critical thinking skills in an engaging, hands-on environment. Campers will work together to solve mysteries, build strategies, and tackle creative problem-solving activities—all while having a blast! Whether your child loves brainteasers or is simply curious about how things work, this camp will ignite their imagination and boost their confidence. 

Craft & Create Camp

Cancellation Policy

Any changes or cancellations once registered will incur a $25 change fee. No refunds will be made after May 14 for our June camps.

Drop Off/Pick Up: 

Please enter the school from the first entrance. Turn right and loop around the MS building. Carpool drop off and pickup will be at Floyd Dining Hall. 

Do not drop off earlier than 8:45 a.m.

Please be prompt at pick up at 12:00 p.m. for morning session campers or 3:30 p.m. for afternoon session and all-day campers.


Point of Contact During the day: 

If there are extenuating circumstances where you need to pick up your child early or have to arrive late, please text 770-355-7135. There will be someone in the Middle School office to answer the school phone until 12:00 p.m. 


Medical/Allergies: 

We have all of your child’s information in the school database. If your child requires an epipen/Auvi-Q, please have your child bring it on his/her person. 


Lunch: 

A reminder that you must bring your own lunch if your child is staying for the afternoon session.
