About me

Welcome! I am a second-year PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at Cornell University, minoring in Cognitive Science.

My primary research interests lie in theoretical syntax and its interface with semantics and pragmatics. One of  my ongoing projects examines the argument structure of a Korean existential predicate, focusing on its locative and possessive constructions. I am currently working with John Whitman. My research interests also focus on experimental and computational approaches to linguistic phenomena.

Prior to coming to Cornell, I received my M.A. in English Language and Literature at Seoul National University, where I worked on the syntax and semantics of fragments in English echo questions. I hold a B.A. from the same institution, with a minor in Linguistics.
