My name is Gautier Lenfant,  and I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Cornell University.

My research interests revolve around Labor, Innovation, and Urban Economics.


I study how public R&D funding influences private innovation, local employment, and firm dynamics. 

In my current work, I use large-scale microdata to quantify the local spillovers of government research spending across the U.S.
