Hey, cudas! As testing season nears, we become more anxious about our upcoming exams. While it is our first time taking our IB exams, I am confident that we are prepared with the tools we need to succeed. Regardless, we are all bound to get anxious about our upcoming tests and hectic few weeks. Here are some tips to help you navigate IB testing!
First, organize a schedule for you to study. Setting aside even an hour a day helps you slowly begin to study information. Figure out what classes you need to study for, and create a schedule in order to study for a subject a day. This helps you feel less overwhelmed with cramming at the last second. Utilize resources given to you by your teachers, and other resources such as specialized IB websites, or youtube videos.
Second, remember to get enough sleep the night before. Eat a healthy breakfast day of your exam in order to ensure you are able to focus on the contents of the test. Also, try to get to school earlier to ensure not getting to school late. When you arrive at school, your focus should be less on cramming, and more on calming your nerves. Take deep breaths in order to relax your nerves before the test. You are more than prepared!
Remember to know your candidate ID and bring your testing materials with you! Good luck with all your exams :)
