Sight Word Instruction K-3

Teachers will explore when and how to teach sight words, high frequency words, and irregular words and will consider instructional strategies beyond flashcards and memorization. Participants are asked to bring the list of words that they teach at their grade level. Site word acquisition is often an IEP goal so the session will be geared toward K-2 classroom teachers and special education teachers.
