Formative & Summative Assessments within a Guaranteed, Viable Curriculum

Every classroom must have a core curriculum which reflects the important concepts that need to be taught AND assessments that accurately measure learning.  Through this session, participants will develop a common understanding of what a Guarenteed and Viable Curriculum is through the lens of assessments. K-12 Teachers will work through a micro-planning cycle intended to balance the application of formative and summative assessments within their classroom instruction.
