CLEVELAND BROWNS:
The Browns are in shambles. From going 11-6 to starting 1-6 and celebrating the return of Nick Chubb, the Browns are facing the struggles of the heavily injured offensive line, penalties, play calling and defensive adjustments. It’s safe to say Deshaun Watson will never be back to his former self and all that money spent was just money in the grave.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS:
The Steelers are the definition of winning football. They’re sitting at a record of 5-2 with a top 3 defense in the league and a vastly improved run game. At times, the Steelers don’t play their best football but they play well enough to beat their opponents. I don’t believe the Steelers will win the division but I do believe they are a contender for the playoffs.
HOUSTON TEXANS:
Over the offseason, the Texans spent serious money on players like Joe Mixon and Danielle Hunter and that has paid off. Currently at 5-2, Houston is cruising through the season and dominating teams with left and right knockout punches. Houston as a team is very versatile with young superstars such as CJ Stroud and Will Anderson alongside hard headed veterans like Larry Tunsil and Stefon Diggs. Houston is a great team on both sides of the ball and I’ll confidently say that they will win the AFC South.
NEW YORK JETS:
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! Coming into the new season, Aarron Rodgers was bouncing back from his injury and many fans speculated that the Jets were one of the teams to watch. So far, the Jets have been ‘mid’ and very dysfunctional. They fired coach Robert Saleh and their new and improved offense hasn’t shown much. Hopefully the addition of Davante Adams will provide a spark for the offense. The Jets have potential if they can get their heads out of their… helmets.
