How to access and use Zoom

Note: Be sure to download the Zoom app prior to the meeting if you are not using the school device.

• Click on the Zoom meeting invite (found in Classroom or on Calendar).

• The Zoom app will open when you click on the invitation link.

• Mute yourself and wait for instructions from your teacher.

Troubleshooting

• Use a headset if you have connection issues to minimize background noise.

• Shut off your video if you have connection issues.

• Rejoin the meeting if you lose connection.

• Online classrooms hold the same expectations as in person classrooms.

• Raise your hand on the video or icon if you have a question and wait for the teacher to call on you.

• If all else fails for your online meeting connection, use your phone to join the meeting with audio only.
