• Research projects: have students synthesize their research into a shorter video format

• How to videos: have students explain a process or experiment

• Tours: have students give a tour

• Storytelling: have students write stories and record them (consider puppet shows as an option too!)

• Raising awareness: have students create a campaign to raise awareness about something they're passionate about. Sample 5th grade video.

How to make it even better:
Students create their best videos when they have a clear intended target audience. Who will watch the kids' videos and why?
