May - Weekly Information
📚Reading: We will read non-fiction texts, focusing on text features.
✏️Writing: Students will research and write about animals in writing time. Students will create a research project that will be on display in the cafeteria.
🔢Mathematics: Students will work on length, weight, and capacity in May. Please continue to count to 100 and backwards from 20 everyday. Students should have these skills mastered before first grade.
🔬Science: Students will learn about animals this month.
🌎Social Studies: Kindergarten will learn about summer safety.

Please make sure that your child has a change of clothes in their backpack. We do not have extra clothes available in case of an accident or emergency.
