Our approach to assessing a student’s potential is highly contextual; we do not look exclusively at conventional markers of success, like grades, but instead work to understand how a student has maximized the opportunities available to them. We firmly believe that our community is strengthened through a diversity of voices, interests, experiences, and perspectives. We need your help to ensure this incredible opportunity reaches as many eligible students as possible.
Loran Scholars benefit from a four-year leadership-enrichment program, financial support for their undergraduate studies, national and international experiential learning opportunities, and a long-term supportive community of peers and mentors, including business and community leaders. Manitoba Student Aid provides financial assistance for post-secondary studies in the form of loans, bursaries and grants for eligible applicants. It administers provincial and federal student loans and other financial assistance to Manitobans who don't have the resources to pay for their education on their own.
Manitoba Student Aid funding is supplemental and is not intended to replace your own resources or to cover the entire cost of your education. You, and in some cases your immediate family, are expected to contribute. Applying for other sources of funding (ex. scholarships, bursaries, or Government funding) are highly recommended.

These bursaries can cover a substantial amount or the full cost of your tuition for an eligible degree, diploma, or certificate program. The number of available waivers depends on the school you want to apply to.
Please note that Waivers are not guaranteed, and Futures Forward does not make any decisions on who receives a Waiver. Futures Forward processes Tuition Waiver applications and sends them to the appropriate institutions for selection.
Tuition waiver students are also eligible for financial support that helps with living expenses, books, supplies, transportation and mandatory health and dental fees.

Maintain full-time studies (18 credit hours or 60% course load). Exceptions can be made for folks with disabilities.
