Bake

Peanut Butter Cookies

Preheat oven to 177 degrees celsius

Cream together in large bowl:

1 cup softened butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky, your choice)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 eggs, beaten

Add and mix in completely:

2 ½ cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

If the dough is too sticky, add a little bit more flour. If it is too dry, add a wee bit of milk.

Use cookie scoop to scoop cookie dough or scoop large teaspoonfuls of dough about the size of a walnut.

Place scoops of cookie dough 2 inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet. Use a wide tonged fork dipped in flour to create a grid type pattern on the top of each cookie scoop. Press down gently just to create a criss-cross pattern. Sprinkle the top of each cookie with a light sprinkle of granulated sugar.

Bake for about 15 minutes until lightly golden brown. Watch carefully to not underbake or overbake.

Let cool on parchment paper on a cooling rack.
