Bake

Apple Crisp (or Apple Betty)

Preheat oven to 177 degrees celsius

Peel and core and thinly slice into a large bowl:

4-5 Apples (depends on their size)

Add the following to sliced apples and mix gently but completely:

1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon water

¼ cup granulated sugar

½ teaspoon ground Cinnamon

Place sliced apple mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.

Topping:

In medium bowl, add and mix thoroughly together:

⅓ cup flour

1 cup old fashioned or quick Oats

½ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ cup melted butter

Crumble topping mixture evenly over apples in baking dish.

Bake for about 30 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling.

Cool on a wire rack. Delicious with vanilla ice cream!
