Alesia Tringale is a Director of Software Engineering and a Distinguished Engineer at Dell-EMC, where she leads a high performance global software team in the VMAX Enterprise Storage Organization within Dell Corporation, developing embedded scaling fabric interconnects, global cache services, networking, data reduction and Secure Host protocol subsystems.
Alesia received her undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and graduate degree in Systems Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Alesia started her career working in the Semiconductor field, but later took an opportunity to join EMC in 1998 as a Senior Hardware Engineer. In 2006, she transitioned to the VMAX software team where she was instrumental in developing a new fabric interconnect, vaulting and environmental architecture. Her substantial contributions to this project resulted in EMC’s transformative VMAX platform in 2009 and subsequent recognition with the President’s Award. As she expanded her leadership role, Alesia was pivotal in defining and driving partner vendors to deliver critical features required of the VMAX3 fabric solution and led her software team to successfully deploy this major storage product solution in 2014. Alesia currently holds 12 patents and she continues to expand her role in influencing the architecture, design and development of VMAX’s next generation, industry- leading Enterprise Storage product. Complimenting her technical pursuits, Alesia also pursues classical music by being both an Artistic Director and soprano vocalist of Seele Musicale Chamber Ensemble.
